Heijmans nominates Marc van Gelder as member of the Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Royal Heijmans N.V. intends to nominate Marc van Gelder (1961) as a new member of the Supervisory Board. The nomination is the result of the decision to temporarily expand the Supervisory Board to six members, in anticipation of the vacancy that will arise in April 2025 in accordance with the schedule of retirement by rotation.

Marc van Gelder was CEO with Mediq from 2005 – 2014 and has held various management positions with Ahold before that. Currently he holds various supervisory positions. The Supervisory Board is convinced that given his extensive experience in complex and challenging circumstances, Marc van Gelder will make a valuable contribution to both the Supervisory Board and Heijmans.

At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 4 November 2024, Marc van Gelder will be nominated as member of the Supervisory Board of Royal Heijmans N.V. for a period of more than three and a half years which period ends at the end of the annual General Meeting of Shareholders in to be held in 2028. The Works Council supports this nomination.
